Two dissident MPs of Turkish descent start the political movement DENK. The documentary follows them during the establishment of a party for minorities in turbulent social times.
While other cameras are kept out, this documentary follows the founders of political party DENK, Tunahan Kuzu and Selcuk Öztürk, in the run-up to the parliamentary elections of 2017. The two outspoken, enthusiastic politicians want to write history by being elected in Parliament for the first time with a party of minorities. Behind the scenes, we witness the turbulent election year of a much-discussed movement and its founders, in times of serious social turmoil and political struggle.
