Rover, a taciturn cab driver, smokes a cigarette near an airport. When evening falls, he drives into town. He watches the streets from his car and spies on his passengers in the rear-view mirror. He never makes contact, though. But he is forced to do so when an Asian girl on the run suddenly jumps into his cab. Although the woman does not say a word, Rover for the first time comes out of his safe shell.
