Unparalleled representation of solitary man in time-lapse photography. On the forsaken geographical North Pole, the filmmaker keeps the sun in his back for twenty-four hours.
About solitary man, who wants to withdraw from the world for one day, represented in time-lapse photography. Guido van der Werve defied sun, coldness and wind by keeping the sun in his back for twenty-four hours, standing exactly on the geographic North Pole, thus literally not turning with the world. The artist also integrated his experience in the soundtrack The day that I didn't turn with the world, composed and performed by himself.
