Looking to solve the mystery surrounding his mother, 13-year-old Nonny is helped by master crook Felix. In exuberant and moving family film, they enter the world of disguises and pursuits, French chansons and the mysterious Zohara.
Thirteen-year-old Nonny wants to become a great detective, like his father, the best police inspector in the world. But because he keeps getting into trouble, his father sends him to his uncle Samuel two days prior to his bar mitzvah to grow up. But how will Nonny find out about the secret of his vanished mother? And what is happening between his father and the faithful secretary Gaby? In the train, he unexpectedly meets master burglar Felix Glick, an old acquaintance of his father’s. Together, they travel to the French Riviera and enter a world of disguises, pursuits, French chansons and the mysterious woman Zohara. Will Nonny, helped by his vivid imagination, solve all mysteries in this exuberant and touching family film? Adapted from Israeli writer David Grossman’s book.
