Music video about the obstacles encountered by refugees in their quest for freedom. Largely shot in Sicily, with boat refugees from countries such as Somalia, Syria and Afghanistan.

A ‘very harsh chunk of reality’ is what drum ‘n’ bass group Noisia claim to show in their video for Mantra. Sil van der Woerd’s film depicts the perilous obstacles encountered by refugees in their quest for freedom. The video was largely shot in Sicily, featuring boat refugees from countries such as Ghana, Somalia, Syria and Afghanistan, who had just landed and thus visualised their personal stories.
