In this vivid, sexy and sensitive adaptation of Philip Huff’s bestseller, the end is rapidly drawing near for a group of boys’ carefree college days. Convincing owing to great acting by the young cast and the astute eye of a director who is generally known for his documentary work.

Three friends experience the highs and lows of their years as members of an Amsterdam-based fraternity. In this turbulent period, they try to break free from their parents and background, with mixed results. They go through passionate romances, wild parties, they revel, they bluster and they learn the true meaning of friendship. A sudden death within the group puts everything on edge. What kind of a person are you when you have grown up and have to bear responsibility for your choices in life? Drama about friendship, desires and growing up, with a keen eye to detail, situated in a microcosm, but at the same time highly universal.
