Flemish Bob is a retired libertine who hardly sees his grown-up children. Walloon Marcel drinks away his grief over his painful divorce in his vacated house. The two men don’t have much, but they have each other. In a small village in a Walloon province of Belgium, they share their loneliness, witticisms and dipsomania. They think suicide is the best option when they’ve reached the end of the road. In that case, they will jointly do away with themselves, and they know where, too: under Bob’s life tree. A tragicomic documentary about friendship and decay.
