Amsterdam, 1988. Detective Lucas is charged with investigating the mysterious death of jazz legend Chet Baker. Lucas’ exploration of Baker’s last days takes him on a dark, musical journey in which he crosses the paths of his last lover, an unconditional friend and Doctor Feelgood, the ambiguous admirer. In the wake of Chet’s final notes, the ambitious Lucas is touched by this lyrical music and the life story of the down-and-out legend. The detective finds out he looks more like Chet than he would like.
