In his work, photographer Kadir van Lohuizen wants to counterbalance the commercial news media by bringing forgotten conflicts and disasters to our attention. He is followed during two projects and the period in between. The conclusion of his long trip from Chile to Alaska, where he photographed forbidden oil fields, and his visit to an island near Papua New Guinea, where rising seawater levels have brought about climate refugees. A documentary about the daily practice of a driven photo journalist.
