An overseas call, a supposition and a completely wrong assumption lead to the inevitable in this animation film. While various techniques and image types (realistic shots in black-and-white, a man with three ears, colour spots, clay animation) take turns, an English-speaking man records increasingly annoyed messages on the answering machine of his girlfriend, who reacts to none of them.
