It promises to be a special day for seven-year-old Laura; she goes on a school trip and her mother drops her off. And apparently the latter does not happen every day. Laura sets the table herself, brushes her teeth and tries to encourage her mother to hurry up. Will the bus still be there when she is too late? In a few minutes and without many words, the film makes clear how this single-parent family struggles with various problems. Missen was selected for the short film competition at Cannes 2009.
