He fails to produce pieces with any news value and his boss is about to fire him. But then he meets Miss Minoes, a neat lady in a suit who communicates with cats, nuzzles up to them and purrs, and who is kept abreast of all news items involving Killendoorn by the neighbourhood cats. With voices of Annet Malherbe, Wim T. Schippers, Katja Schuurman, Paul Haenen, Loes Luca, Hans Teeuwen, Frits Lambrechts and Kim van Kooten. In 2001 Minoes won Golden Calves for Best Feature Film and Best Actress (Carice van Houten).
