Who is the rather timid woman depicted on the package of an inflatable hairdryer in the 1970s, and how did she get there? The filmmaker uses both her imagination and research to produce two stories: an invented life and a real life. Both are reconstructed with the help of photographs and home videos, recordings of streets and houses and voice-overs, dramatised or not. An experiment involving still something else, something that both feature films and documentaries do: create a reality.
