English-spoken fictional story about a journalist looking for Natalee Holloway. He hopes to force a breakthrough by breaking into Joran van der Sloot’s apartment and makes a shocking discovery.

Me & Mr. Jones on Natalee Island is the fictional story of an undercover journalist on Aruba, based on the case of the vanished American girl Natalee Holloway. Five years after her disappearance, journalist Remi hopes to force a breakthrough by breaking into Joran van der Sloot’s apartment. To secure himself an alibi, he hires escort girl Eva, with whom he is supposedly on a honeymoon. Precisely on the fifth birthday of the disappearance, they make a blood-curdling discovery.
Both Remi and Eva are haunted by ghosts. After a blunder, Remi tries to get even with his father, a famous crime journalist. And Eva’s days are numbered.
Paul Ruven shot the English-spoken film in May and June of 2010 on Aruba, without making it public. During the shooting, Van der Sloot got into trouble in Peru. Ruven incorporated this in his film, just like he mixed facts and theories about what took place in 2005 with a fictional plot.
