Social-realist drama about the tentative trust between a single woman mourning her deceased son and the homeless boy she temporarily takes in.
Margaret, a 41-year-old single woman from Dublin, is informed that her 18-year-old son, whom she abandoned when he was still a baby, has been found dead. In an attempt to cope with this immense loss, she seeks distraction in the local swimming pool every day. She meets Joe here, a street kid she once took care of when she found him in front of her recycled goods store at night. She offers the homeless boy a room in her house. Social-realist drama in which the tentative trust that grows between them is viciously disturbed.
