Two sisters, Mascha and Renate, cannot afford to pay for their dead father to be transported back to Poland. He wanted to be buried in his home village of Staramorawa. Masha decides to fulfill her father's wish herself so the two very different sisters set off for Poland with their dead father in the ski box on top of the car.
