A man declared unfit for work robs a filling station one night. He ties up the attendant, locks him up and puts on his uniform. Then he sticks a label saying 'out of order' on the vending machines. As a result the customers have to pay the robber in cash until he has enough to realise his dream.
Episode from a series of low-budget TV dramas by the VPRO set in the Belgian capital. A thirty-year-old man declared unfit for work robs a filling station one night. He ties up the attendant, locks him up and puts on his uniform. Then he sticks a label saying 'out of order' on the vending machines. As a result the customers, often nuisances, have to pay the robber in cash until he has enough to realise his dream. The customers come and go and an escape attempt by the attendant fails. The men gradually start talking and find out they have a lot in common.
