Silent short film with live accompaniment by the HKU orchestra. A student is introduced to a woman by a friend. Her jilted lover is jealous and slanders her before the student. The latter sees through the deception, but is wounded by the green-eyed ex-lover. With the help of a few drops of Oranje Bootz, he is brought to. The former lover is cast out by the students and there is nothing left for him but to go to a pub. During a picnic, the woman, the student and their friends and relatives toast to the happy ending with, again, Oranje Bootz. What looks like a short feature film turns out to be a veiled promotional short for this Bols liqueur.
