Shocking period piece from the twilight years of the hippie era, in which two whimsical aimless thugs in rural France spare nothing and no one in their search for women and pleasure. Breakthrough for French filmmaker Bertrand Blier.

Two aimless friends in their twenties travel through France in search of women and pleasure. Shamelessly, they spare nothing or no one in the process. They leave behind a trace of pilferage, vandalism, assault and battery. When a young hairdresser cannot fulfil their needs, they look for an older woman who is released from jail after a long sentence. After all, she will surely yearn for pleasure. Poignant period piece from the twilight years of the hippie era. One of the ten films selected by Guest of the Year Frans van Gestel.
