The camera captures a donkey cart in an unmistakably African landscape. The cart is on its way to a village of clay huts. There, the camera zooms in on the tailor's face. In the course of the film, the camera keeps focusing on details, while the voice of the griot of Daporé tells about a miraculous drought of many years ago. The narration suddenly comes to life and puts a smile on the villagers' faces. The road is marked with wet footprints.
