Fascinating portrait of a musician who is absorbed in his music. In an extreme close-up, we see the expressive face of a cellist performing Astor Piazzolla's Le Grand Tango.
Violoncellist Paul de Jong plays the piece Le Grand Tango by the Argentinean composer Astor Piazolla. The piano is played by Reinier van Houdt, but he is not filmed. Filmmaker Pieter Jan Smit uses one extended shot in extreme close-up to show how the music takes possession of the musician.
