During three consecutive winters in Lapland, director Lameer filmed the spectacular aurora borealis. He made use of time-lapse photography, shooting single images at long intervals. To a soft drum pattern, we see the dancing light, bright green with blue edges, like wisps, whirlpools and waves above the black silhouette of the horizon, against a nocturnal star-spangled sky.
