Road movie. After an eightteen-year absence, the retired miner Luigi Bertone returns to Sicily to attend his god-daughter's wedding. On the way, his car breaks down and he becomes entangled in countless adventures with the rebellious seventeen-year-old Anita who has run away from an orphanage.
