Short feature film in which a home helper wants to give a terminally ill old woman the chance to bid farewell to life the way she wants it. Son-in-law Rik is scared out of his wits and calls the emergency number.
Wil (81) is on her deathbed. The old woman is entirely ready for the transition, she has said more than once in the presence of home helper Frank (31). For the empathic carer, these are the moments that life is about and what he is in this job for: to allow people to bid farewell to life in peace and quiet. But things do not run as peacefully as he had hoped for, when son-in-law Rik decides to call the emergency number.
