Using binoculars, two men who have struck up a friendship on the roof of a tall building control their distance to the lively world down below.
A young man with dark hair and a slight accent works as a tram conductor. At home, he is alone, with only a suitcase of memories. But he has a roof over his head and on this roof he has a friend. They don’t need many words. From their elevated perspective, they jointly observe the inhabitants and the city, which they draw closer with binoculars. This allows them to control their distance to the world.
