It is every twelve-year-old’s nightmare: breaking your arm right before going camping in the sunny South with your parents. While your peers, driven by surging teen hormones, are breaking new ground by a French pool, you become an albatross around their necks. But this timid boy in plaster gets his act together when he sees his future frightfully mirrored in his parents’ bourgeois gaggling and a maladjusted lonely cyclist who seems to be cheerlessly camping. An unexpected traffic jam opens the way to a hopeful finale.
