Since his death in 1798, the life of the Italian bon vivant Giacomo Casanova has grown to mythical proportions. Seducer, artist, inspired writer: he was all of this. In Come, Casanova Come Kees Hin portrays several people who went in search of colour in their own lives, inspired by the life of Casanova. They read his books, cross Europe in his footsteps and would most like to be loved by him or to be a lover of female beauty to match him. They call themselves 'Casanovists' and form a small, yet widely-spread network that exchanges information and fantasies.
