An equally absurdist and grim animated portrait of the new police baton, which they deal some nasty blows with. Is this violence justified?
The TV is switched on. On the news, a spokesman of the police says: "We’re done with the talking." What follows in this absurdist animation film is a critical portrait of the updated and more dangerous police baton. The clumsy rubber baton is replaced by a collapsible thin stick that can deal some pretty nasty blows. The police deploys it with the warning that disobedience will be reciprocated with violence. Is this violence justified? Knuppel shows that eventually it is the citizens that pay the price for the police’s latest feat of arms.
