Lavanya (15) never gives up and as DJ Kendis sets audiences at music festivals on fire. As well as at film festivals, because Thessaloniki, Toronto, Tbilisi and Tel Aviv preceded Utrecht.

At the age of nine, Lavanya discovered her talent. A few years later, she became aware that music gives her the strength she needs, no matter how nervous she may sometimes be when she gets up on stage. Supported by her father, she diligently pursues a career as a DJ. Her father is already dreaming of the USA. Lavanya’s dearest wish is to get through to the DJ Top 100 of the world. While performing as the youngest DJ at big festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium, she explains what drives her. Her career is overshadowed by the pain she still has after a traffic accident she had some years ago. But this tough cookie would never think of giving up.
