After the success of Turkish Delight, producer Rob Houwer brought the same team together again for Katie's Passion. It became an anecdotal film version of the diary of the 19th-century prostitute Neel Doff. Monique van de Ven in the title role and the compelling Amsterdam street scenes were very popular with audiences.
