During the big Amsterdam street soccer tournament, boys from very different backgrounds compete for the much-coveted cup. Weals and woes of a new generation in a city where many cultures merge.

Five 12-year-old boys compete in the annual street soccer tournament in Amsterdam. They come from different city districts and highly divergent backgrounds. They bring along their individual stories and dreams. They all encounter their own problems and difficulties. But they have one thing in common: their love of the ball. This at times harrowing, but also touching and comical youth documentary shows a new generation of Amsterdammers growing up in a city where many cultures come together.
