Cinematic impression of this park in Paris, 'a world in itself, where birds, children and statues all have their separate roles', as the introduction to the film says. After images of ponds, fountains, lawns and statues, the film shows the Parisians parading through the umbrageous lanes or enjoying the sunshine on one of the many park chairs. Children play with a ball or hoop or have fun with the sailboats on the big pond. Or enjoy the puppet show or merry-go-round in the park. But when it rains, the park is deserted, but for the birds.
