In his documentary, Pelon portrays 8mm-filmmaker Jaap Pieters in his crammed Amsterdam apartment. Pieters lets gravity do its work, so tall stacks of paper slowly start shifting. Pieters: 'Sometimes I stand in awe of the beauty of this mess.' Pieters shows the interviewer where he can put down his feet ('Am I standing on your toothbrush now?' 'Yes, but that's okay.'). While discussing cinema, they look for the heater in Pieters' cold flat.
