Thriller based on a newspaper cutting about a vet who castrated the man who raped her. A woman veterinarian (played by Monique van den Ven) has to conquer many prejudices before she is accepted in a rural community. The relationship she has with a rich gentleman farmer is especially resented; not by the puritanical farming community, but by her own ex-boyfriend from the big city.
