Against his will, a famous war reporter for a quality newspaper has to interview one of the most popular actresses of India. The interview derails. Second remake, this time Indian, of the Theo van Gogh film.
A cynical Indian war reporter reluctantly interviews one of the most famous Bollywood actresses for the magazine Cover Story. He soon realises she is giving him the interview of the century. But is what she tells him all true, or is she a better actress than he thinks? And is he as politically correct as he pretends to be? It seems they both have had a traumatic past, or is it just a psychological game? While his recording device keeps running, the clashing characters raise the tension to fever pitch.
This Bollywood thriller, entirely in Hindi,is the second remake of Theo van Gogh’s Interview (2003), featuring Pierre Bokma and Katja Schuurman. In 2007, Steve Buscemi made a version with himself and Sienna Miller in the leading roles. Postma, who regularly stays in India, wanted to do a remake of Interview. As the English rights had already been taken, he made it in Hindi.
