What makes the iconic instant photograph so popular? This audiovisual trip is a search for the secret of the Polaroid and a tribute to a form of photography that has all but vanished.
What makes a Polaroid so magical? Is it the secret chemical formula, the way the iconic image looks or is it the social aspect? Four people who, in different ways, share a fascination with the Polaroid film look for the essence of this revolutionary form of photography. They have no time to lose, because after the decease of Polaroid inventor Edwin H. Land and the closure of the last insolvent Polaroid factory, Land’s knowledge threatens to be lost forever.
