Resistance film about heroes and cowards, good and evil. It is 1942. Two resistance fighters cross swords. The reckless artist Van Dijk attacks the population registry and the Jewish Blumberg uses a fake list to try and save Jews from being sent to the camps. Blumberg however gets tangled up in his own web and pulls Van Dijk along with him.
