Control freak Gijsje would love nothing more than to become pregnant and have a career. Her elder sister Marjolein has three children and suddenly, after she is abruptly fired as a journalist, embraces life as a schoolyard mother. Their own flamboyant mother, meanwhile, finds herself in a great mess due to fat mortgages on the family home. The idea of losing the parental home is hard to take for the two sisters. Together, the three totally different women try to salvage what they can, to keep the house and steer their lives in the right direction.
