Third part of a trilogy about the Turkish poet Yusuf at different stages of life. Six-year-old Yusuf has just started elementary school and learns to read and write. His father Yakup is a bee-keeper. His beehives hang from tall trees, deep in the woods. One day, he disappears, looking for special bees in a remote forest. Yusuf is badgered at school because he stammers and he withdraws into himself. Now that his father has disappeared, he does not want to speak anymore. His mother Zehra sends him off to his grandmother for the sacred Mira Night. There, he grows convinced that his father will return and he decides to go look for him.
