Olga of twenty-five lives alone in a plain apartment in the centre of Groningen. In the daytime she works in her father's fashionable clothes store and she fills her evenings in a soccer canteen full of men. Olga is unhappy in her store job, but she does not find much pleasure at home or visiting her father and his friends, either. Alone at home, she stares aimlessly from her camping chair or dirty mattress. Smoking, always smoking. Or eating chips at the snack bar. Joyless sex with men and women seems to make her evenings less lonely, but she never feels anything. She does not maintain close ties with other people; she only observes them intently. Because they do not seem to see Olga, nobody around her notices she is doing worse and worse. Hardly anyone in this artistic, slightly absurdist feature film says a word. Especially Olga. You can only find out how she feels by observing her. Olga herself sees the world differently than her environment, accompanied by strange, seemingly inappropriate sounds.
