This industrial was made for Van Gend & Loos to remember the replacement of horse-drawn vehicles by small vans because traffic was too congested. The intention of the transport company was to complete this gradual change that started in 1929, in 1958. The company said farewell to its stable boys. Those who still wanted could be retrained as drivers.
