For this short film, Nico Crama did the direction, production and script (along with Hubert Lampo). Waiting for lowered level-crossing barriers, writer Freek Groenevelt sees a young woman in the car next to his, and a railroad employee. This drives him to a series of fantasies in which he meets the woman in a static landscape and with her constructs the story of a relationship between her and the other man. Contact is made in an ageless town, in the hushed galleries of a museum, amidst Jeroen Bosch's unreal yet realistic paintings. The reality of his fantasy is shattered when it turns out that time has stood still.
