Film début by journalist and writer Alice Fuldauer about partner-killing. Every year hunderds of people throughout the world, most of them men, kill their (ex-)lovers. In Holland one in five fatal violent crimes is a crime passionel. There are many more attempts. The LOVE DELICT is A documentary in six parts comprising portraits of three men and three women who have killed their partners for a variety of reasons. They talk openly about their feelings and motives. During the Dutch Film Festival the third of the six parts will be screened. In this part entitled THE SACRIFICE, a young man explains what drove him to kill his future wife just before the wedding.
