A fictitious village in Noord-Brabant in the 1990s prepares for the convivial month of December. But it does not just come down to merrymaking. This social-realist drama depicts various difficulties in the imaginary town, such as the discord in the local council about digitisation issues and the silent struggles of a lonely old woman and a bullied teenager.
