Operate or not? And if so, what will be the consequences of the operation for the personality of the patient with a brain tumour? Dilemmas of two neurosurgeons and their patients.

In the treatment of patients with a brain tumour, apart from life and death, the patient’s personality is at stake. With the slightest cut in the brain, people’s love of poetry, of their dog, their capacity to think, feel and love can be wiped out. The documentary follows two neurosurgeons and their patients and shows the dilemmas they are faced with: accepting or defying the limits of what is possible, making the choice to operate or not, assessing the risks of a surgical procedure.
