While Kees Hin is clearing up his more than one hundred films in a depot of the EYE film museum in Amsterdam, Barbara den Uyl asks him about his extensive body of works. They address everything: from provocative experiments to the role of the war and the urge to play with reality. Hin’s films always deal with people and life’s fickleness. Film extracts and discussions about them intertwine. For Hin, it’s all a bit of conjuring. Stay faithful to your imagination, and you will get quite far, he thinks.
