Within the framework of the Big Society, after thirty years of assisted living, Harry, Tiny and Sonja are expected to stand on their own two feet. But will they manage? They have a psychiatric background, so what will happen if things go wrong? The process the three go through impartially shows what the rapid changes in health care and the dissolution of the welfare state means for those concerned. The focus of the documentary is on the experiences of the three individuals, who are not equally self-reliant, but try to manage together nonetheless.
