Thirty-something Hugo Maes is a documentary photographer portraying inhabitants of barren Greenland. The Flemish-speaking Belgian is focused on his artistry, but equally averse to a conventional life full of responsibilities and routine. When at an exhibition of his work in Amsterdam he meets the gorgeous Iris, who is ten years his junior, Hugo falls for her head over heels. Their stormy relationship is a bruising battle of desires and illusions that fundamentally influences Hugo’s life. Experimental drama exploring the boundaries of form and narrative.
