Film about the construction of the Bijenkorf department store on the Coolsingel in Rotterdam, designed by the famous architect Dudok, is a rhythmic play of arrangements, camera compositions and movements. The film was shot from the most unusual camera angles. Groei (Growth) was the perfect cinematic counterpart to Dudok's architecture.
