What is left of a society in times of crisis? Brother and sister Pafralides run a business selling heating oil in Greece. Should they leave their fellow citizens in the cold when they can’t pay for oil?
How profoundly does the economic crisis affect the lives of ordinary Greeks? This documentary follows Tasos and his sister Evdokia, who run a business selling heating oil in downtown Thessaloniki. While Evdokia mans the filling station, Tasos traverses the city in winter to take the oil to customers. But after years of serious depression, fewer and fewer Greeks can afford to pay for the oil. So, Tasos and Evdokia face a tough dilemma every day: Should they really refuse heating oil to people who can’t pay for it?
